Music at Kirk Ireton
We have lots of opportunities for children to learn different instruments. Teachers come into school to teach piano, drums, flute, recorder, clarinet, violin as individual private lessons for a . All students have an opportunity to learn a brass instrument and loan one for home practice. We have regular brass concerts where the whole junior class performs.
Here is a piece of music Mr Losh has recorded - it's for two trumpets but he played both parts! Mr Losh described it as being Telemann meets street funk!
